Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada is recognizing strong, smart, and bold women in Leeds-Grenville. The signature event will be a cocktail party at which our 2013 Strong, Smart, and Bold Women of the Year Awards will be presented. This highly anticipated event will be held at St. Lawrence College’s Marianne van Silfhout Gallery on the evening of June 6th. The United Nations declared October 11, 2012 as the world’s first International Day of the Girl. This day made a difference in the lives of girls and young women as citizens and as powerful voices of change in their families, their communities and their nations. The Day of the Girl was an opportunity to highlight, celebrate, discuss, and advance girls lives and opportunities across the globe. October 11 was not just a day but a movement. 4th ANNUAL td canada trust WOMEN'S HOCKEY TOURNAMENT FOR GIRLS INC
Girls Inc. will be hosting our 4th Annual TD Canada Trust Women's Hockey Tournament to raise money for girls programs throughout Leeds and Grenville. It will be held April 5 - 7th at the Brockville Memorial Centre and the Centennial Youth Arena, both located in Brockville. The cost will be $850 per team with a three game guarantee. This tournament is open to 20 adult female teams and offers a full range of divisions including beginner, recreational, competitive, and open.
