OVERVIEW The cornerstone of our organization has been the one to one pairing of an adult female volunteer with a girl between the ages of 6-18. At Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada, we change the lives of girls by providing mentorship and skills development programs hat help them achieve their full potential. When we recognize that girls are dealing with issues unique to them, we know that programming designed specifically to meet their needs can play a critical role in their healthy development into adults. We need to do more for girls that will strengthen them today and prepare them for critical roles tomorrow. We seek dedicated individuals with a creative touch and a nose for detail, as well as an ability to carry through. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities exists. If you can help put ideas into action we need you. We have a consistent need for these volunteers in all areas of our region. We hold "Volunteer Information Nights" every first Wednesday of the month -- come and see what we are all about!
